the High Street in Southwarke (Two whereof Front the sd: Street and the
other lyes backward) upon a Lease Expireing at Michas-1713: At the
yearely Rent of Twelve pounds Thirteen Shillings and Four Pence
To Grant him a New Lease thereof for One and Twenty Yeares to Comence
from the Expiracon of that Lease At the said Old yearly Rent of Twelve
Pounds thirteen Shillings and Four Pence. In Consideracon of Six
Hundred pounds Fine: Whereof Three Hundred pounds was to be
paid Downe in hand And the Remaining Three Hundr Pounds at
Michaelmas - 1713:

Ruinous that if could not be inhabitted and would not Answer the Change
of Repaireing Wee Gave the sd: Mr: Branson Leave to pull the same Downe
He useing the Timber and other Matterialls thereof in the Repaires
of the Farmhouse and Tenements held by the said Mr: Branson of the
Hospitall in Parndon aforesaid

Wee have Agreed that Mr: Joshua Tunicliffe< no role > shall have the
Houses in St: Thomas's Parish neare the Maze pond (lately held by One
Farter) at FIve Shillings P Ann Rent, Granted to him in the Lease of the
Houses adjoyning late in Lease to John Sell< no role > and his Wife and already
Lett to the said Joshua Tunicliffe< no role > For Eleven Yeares and One Quarter
from Lady Day last In Considn: of Fifteen Guineas to be paid Down as
a Fine over and besides the Fine Agreed to be paid for the said Other
Houses And the said Rent of Five Shillings is to be Added to the Rent
Agreed to be Reserved for the said other Houses.
