Hospital's Charge with all Convenient speed And
it is Referred to the Sub Committee who Viewed
the said Houses to Agree with Workmen to give the
necessary Direccons for making the said Wharfe.

The said Whitlock Hussey & Taylor Gave Each
of them a Guinea to the poors Box in all £3.3s.0d

20. Guineas Allow'd
to Lady Cass


It appearing that the Lady Cass had within 3. or 4
years last past been put to about Thirty pounds Charge
by the making of a New party Wall upon the
Rebuilding of a House belonging to this Hospital
adjoyning to One of the said 3. Houses for which
she now Prayed an Allowance in regard she looses
all the Benefit that might arise from that Charge
by having the Leases of the said Three Houses
Renewed to other persons The Comittee thereupon
thought fit to Order That she be Allowed Twenty
Guineas in full of that Charge And Mr. Trear is Desired
to pay the same to her

Grand Committee are desired to View Mr Parkes
House in Pater Noster Row at the Corner of Joy Lane
The Lease whereof is near Expiring and Report their
Opinion.

Ditch to be made
between the Hospitall
Land & Mr. Weston.
In Orpington


Ordered that Mr. Smith our Tennt. of the Hospitals
Estate in Orpington may permit the Tennt. of other
Lands. adjoyning to part thereof and belonging to
Mr Robert Weston< no role > to make a Ditch in the Hospitals
Estate for the better parting and separating the
Hospitall's Estate from the Estate of the said Mr: Weston
But Mr. Smith is to take a proper Declaration in Writing
from the said Mr. Weston& his Tennant That the
said Ditch is made in the Hospital's Ground and does
belong to the Hospital.

Mr. Halsey Acquainted the Comittee That Mr Rance
our Woodreeve at Orpington aforesaid is lately Dead
Ordered That the Crispin Alehouse in St. Thomas's
parish be Repaired at the Hospital's Charge And
Mr. Trear is desired to give the necessary Directions
therein.

Some Doubt having arisen, whether, upon Mr. Tanners
being admitted by the General Court in 1722, to have a
Sallary as the other Three Principal Surgeons had, from
Lady Day 1723. The Sallary, heretofore
Allowed for Cutting for the stone (which was at first Settled
at £15. P Ann, when but One Surgeon Cut; and continued
