Agreed with Mr: Jeffs Carpenter, for One
Hundred & Five Pounds. to take down the Roofe
of the Wards on the Southside of the First Court in St:
Thomas's Hospll : and New Frame the Same and lay one New
Floor and a new pair of Staires & Find Timber for the W [..]
& peers and lower the Floor up two pair of Staires & make
the same good where the Boords fall short so as to Ma [..]
the said Wards Answerable to the other Wards lately Ere [..]
on the Northside of that Court He is to provide Sash
Frames for the Front Windows & Lights in the Dry [..]
Soft and to Finish the same with Gutters Particons & [..]
all other Carpenters Worke Answerable to the said [..]
other Wards on the Northside of the sd: Court

Agreed with George Smith< no role > Bricklayer fo [..]
One Hundred Eighty Five Pounds to pull
downe the Front Wall of the Three Wards on the Southside
of the First Court in St: Thomas's Hospitall & build the
same up againe with a Neech & Front to Answer the
New Wards on the Northside of the sd. Court & build the
Back Walls End Walls and Chimneys answerable to the [..]
said Wards on the Northside of that Court & to Find the [..]
Stone Coping and Cramps for the Battlements & make
good all the Hearths in the said Wards And also make
goods all the plaistering & White Wash as well the Old
as the New plaistering of the sd. Wards He is to have
all the Old Materialls belonging to the Trades or
Business of a Bricklayers Mason & plaisterer & may
make & Use of such part thereof as shall be proper in
the sd. New Building And he is to doe all the rest of
the Bricklayers Masons & plaisterers worke which
shall be requisite or needfull in or abt: the Alteracon
of the sd: Wards on the Southside of the sd: Court to
make the same in all respects Answerable to the sd
other Wards on the Northside
