Lady Day next Whereupon the Committee
unanimously Agreed to Returne him their thanks
for his great Services to this Hospital Since he first
became Treasurer And thanks were accordingly

Minutes of last Grand Comittee Read &
Approved.

Mr. Treasurer Acquainted the Comittee That
the purchase Agreed to be made by the Hospital
of his Freehold Houses in Pater Noster Rowe is
perfected by Indenture of Bargaine and Sale from
him to the Governors Inrolled in Chancery And that
Mr. Cook an Apothecary Assignee of a Lease made
of One of the said Houses to Mr. Joseph Lyndall< no role > has
Given Notice That he Desires a New Lease for Seven
Years from the End of the present Lease being
Midsumer 1724. according to a Covenant for that
Purpose contained in the said Lease at the same
Rent and Covenants Which was Ordered to be
made to him accordingly But is to Commence
from Christmas last (if Mr Cook will Consent to it)
That this Lease may End at the same time with the
Leases of the other Houses near adjoyning which
belonged to the Hospital before the Making of this
Purchase.

Mr. Wm. Fowler< no role > (Dyer ) Agreed [..] for a New Lease of
Eight Houses in New Way in St. Thomas's for 21 Years
from Lady day next at £10. P Ann Tax Free and
£50. Fine to be paid downe.

He Gave One Guinea to the Poors Box.
