Approved:

Mr. Trear Reported, that in pursuance of an Order of the 17th. Septr. last he had Agreed ye: with the Port Reeve and
Burgesses of Chard in Somersetshr: to Admitt Mr:
George Newcomer< no role > & Mr. Wm. Chapman to be Tennants
of certaine Coppy hold Lands in the Manner
of Topcliffs in Meldred & Melbourne , which were
Seized into the hands of the Govrs: as Lords of the
sd Manner, the 22th: of August last; In Trust
for Mr: Harrey's Charity in Chard aforesd; In
Consideracon of a Fine of £18: which is paid in
hand to Mr. Trear: Which Agreemt: was well
liked by this Comittee.

abt. the £5. to be pd
towards A Fence
in the Burying Ground

Mr.Leeds's Letter was Read, wherein she
refuses to pay any part of the £5: menconed in
the Agreemt. relating to the Fence in the Burying
Ground, Upon which Mr. Trear is desired to discover
her Agent and to Settle it upon such Terms as
he shall think fitt.
