And the Peiticon of Mr. Peter Gray< no role > with a Rocomendatory
Letter from the Governors of the Verke house in London
were Read as were also the peticons of Timethy Batt
Jacob Spooner< no role > Thomas Newington< no role > Wittm Forster< no role > & John
Rayley
< no role > , all Severally praying to be Admitted to the sd
office of Steward. And they were severally Called in
& heard what they had to ofter besides the matters
contained in their peticons And then the Question
being put, the sd peter Gray< no role > was by a [..] ily of
Hands duly Elected & Chosen to be Steward of this
Hospitalldaring the pleasure of the GovernorTo hold the same with
the sallary & Inquisitt thereinto belonging during the
pleasure of the Governor & not otherwise.

And the sd Peter Gray< no role > being one of the Govenor:
of this Hosptl: He imediately after the sd Eleccon
in open Court Surrendred his Green Staffe & Resigned
his Office of a General:
