the Return of last year & then of the last is not accepted, put in the Average
Account provided it does not made by differ from that of the sergte year
With Regard to the Property Tax changeable to the Hospital (ash and laid
if it as only collected once a year, after Lady day, I think it should be
received of the Tenants, & sit of by them when they pay then Lady rents
(which you receive about Medium ) & them deducted in your Account
well the Hospital, as the Government Assessment is then exactly if [..]
-tained I must also request the favour of you will way Lady day Accot.
Wound Mr. a Last of the Tenants Names, then specific rents other
Arrear [..] if duly on then rents you are [..] that if any Tenant is
assessed as a higher Value than the rent he pays the Hospital, we can
only allow him the Tax as his Assual rent, The Commer for taxes have made
us a Return of the Tax as the last year To be half farm rents but they have
hordane it on the £160 you paid the Tax for the Colling nor on that 10
from the Trustees of the To be half [..] The Property Tax. as to man
per [..] Account, & I therefore find it necessary to request the [..]
[..] to keep at as clear & dersenet from at [..] there Matter as they
possibly can.

Mr. Beaver, at my Request acknowledged the Recd. if year [..] of
the 24 [..] last & Mr. Cromwell made Known my Sentiments on the
Subject of Miss Hewetts Copyhold which I hope is, this put into
proper Repair, otherwise it as my desire she may be [..] to do what
is right, as the Interest of the Hospital must be maintained I have
now to acknowledge the Rest of year letter of the 21. April cover a draft
Value £400 which is of Course carried to your credit. I am much
pleased will the Accot. you gave of the Tenants & approve of the Plan for
accommodating the two farmd us, taking is for granted that from it no
considerable addition it [..] well devolve upon the Hospital, & I like
were went you to bear in mend how desirable it as to make all
further Erecting, as well as planting, on [..] to the plan of devedg
the Estate into two farms at a further period I west that not only
the 5000 Lanthes which you propose may be planted neat [..] but
the Same Number of Oaks & Elms makg 15.000 is 20.000 all together,
provided your can submit a plain to me for that Purpose & the Plantation
can be made on or about the place we thought so cannot & obligable
for another homestead The Expence allending Repair as the Tarn well
make it necessary to have these of the roof of the House Etc danefram
your own direction

Mr. [..] well presents his Corrps. to Messrs Maberly & Daniell, he
understands from Mr. Drummond that Mrs Parker contences her Claim
to the [..] as the Representative of the late Sir Roger Newdigate, and
[..] to Mess Moberly & Daniel for the particular Grounds of his Claim
Mr. Cromwell will be therefore much obliged by Mess Maberly & Daniels
informing him by a ten addressed to him as St. Thomas's Hospital
such particular of Mas Parker Claim
