Sir.
By the Order of our Grand Comee I am to Acquaint you
that 'tis Expected you make Satisfaction for the Apparent Damage
done to the Hospital contrary to the Covenants of your lease &
which has been so Done either by your Order or with your privity
And in Case of your neglect or refusal to Do this Justice I am to
take the proper remedy to Compell you which (in my present
Opinion) must be by a Bill in Chancery)

tell Mr. Quitter How Disagreeable it is to me to write in this
manner to a Gentleman
for whom I have an Esteem & whom
I lookt upon as a frichd to this CharityI hope you'll
prevent my further Proceeding by your speedy Compliance
with the Expectation of the Governors.
