The Fine was £100 & the Fees were £8..2 in which I
suppose Your Fees are Included for the Fees would not otherwise be
so much as it appears by the Copy that the Admission was at a
General CourtMr. Weingfield now talks of about £20
for Fees (in which perhaps he may Include more that One Court) but
I dont know that a Tenant is Obliged to pay for a Special Court unless
at his own Instance If he does not appear after Three proclamations
It is at his Perit & he must take the Consequence Tonly give you
these Hints for your Government in Setting the Fees You'll favour
me with a Line in Answer to this Letter and as soon as I receive it I
will Acquaint Mr. Wingfield that We shall be ready to Attend the Court

Sir.
On Looking into the proceeding on Mr. Maylin's Death I find
that the dyed in September 1738 & the lase Lord Mayor was not
Admitted till 5th. November 1739 and that too at a General Court

The Time was £100 & the Fees (in which Mr. York's of Cambridge
were Included) were but £8.2 the This I think proper to give
you a hint of because you a little Startle me to Talk of Abot. £20.
for Fees Unless a Special Court be held at the Instance of
the party)to be Admitted he is not to be at the Expence of it
This is not the present Case nor was it so on the last Admission
As you have thought fit to appoint a Court for the 18th. instant
I Shall said as Letter of Attorney to Mr. York Excused by the Gen-
Reman (whom the Governers have Nominated to be Admitted) &
Mr. York will attend the Court as his Attorney. The Fiere and
Fees will be punctually paid on a Draught for that purpose either
upon William Mount< no role > Esqr . Treasurer of St. Thomas Hospital or on me
Self But I should be Glad if you would Makes out the Copy at the
some Time that you draw for the Money Be pleas'd to Signify
year Thoughts on this Matter to
