maketh Oath and
Saith that in or about the month of April last
he this Deponent being employed by David Sands< no role >
of Pall Mall
in the said County Gentleman
to
perform the Brickwork in some alterations erections
and repairs to be made on some premises belonging
to the said David Sands< no role >
situate and being in Great
Russell Street
in the Parish of St. Giles in the
fields
in the said County of Middlesex
he this
Deponent by himself and his Servants did
proceed in the said Work and this Deponent
further saith that he knowing that it was
necessary to have the said alterations erections
and repairs surveyed according to the directions
of an Act pass'd in the fourteenth year of the Reign
of his present Majesty intetled the "Building
Act" in order that the said alterations erections
and repairs in the said premised might
according to due form of law. come strictly
within the meaning of the said ActAnd this
Deponent further saith that he verity believes
that the said David Sands< no role >
repeatedly sent to John
Hale< no role >
of Charlotte Street
Tottenham Court Road
in the parish of Saint Pancras in the said,
County Esquirethe Surveyor regularly appointed
for the said District to come and inspect the
said Alterations Erections and repairs in the
