(this Deponent Brother) was apprehended in the
beginning of October last for Stealing a Dog Skin the property
of the said William Holmes< no role >
who attended before Mr Bond
one of his Majestys Justices of the peace
in Bow Street
to
make good the charge against the said Thomas East< no role >
(and
upon there hearing the said Thomas East< no role >
was Committed to take
[..] and the said William
Holmes< no role >
bound in a Recognizance to prosecute That a few
days previous to the last October Session held in and for the
County of Middlesex
the said William Holmes< no role >
being in Town
on business was struck with a [..] Paralytic Stroke as he
was on Horseback in Portland Street
Wardour Street
and in
Consequence was so extremely ill that he could not be removed
