That your Petitioner was on the eighteenth
day of October 1799 convicted in the Penalty of four pounds
by
Humphry Jackson< no role >
Esquire
one of the Justices of the peace
for he said County upon an Information Exhibited and
Prosecuted by
William Lumley< no role >
Charging that your
Petitioner did on the eleventh day of October then instant
upon a certain Turnpike Road in the Parish of Tottenham
in the County of Middlesex
unlawfully use or cause to the
used a Cart of within your Petitioner was then the server
without having first Painted or caused to be Painted on
some consprenous of the said Cart his Christian and
Sirname and Place of abode in Large Legible Letters contrary
to theStatute in that Case made and Provided
That your Petitioner conceives himself
aggrieved by such conviction and is advised to appeal
against the same
Your Petitioner therefore humbly
Prays your worships will be Pleased
to enter his Appeal so that the same
May be heard as this Present General
Quarter session of the Peace and that
your Worships will appoint a Day
for hearing and determining the
same
