The Humble Petition and Appeal of the Churchwardens
and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of Theydon
Garnon in the County of Essex .

Sheweth

That by a Pass Warrant or Order under the
Hand and Seals of J. Merceron and Danl. Williams< no role >
Esqrs. two of his Majesties Justices of the Peace for
the County of Middlesex bearing date the twenty
first day of December in the Year of our Lord one
thousand seven hundred and ninety eight Ann < no role >
the Wife of Thomas Wood< no role > and their Lawful Child
Ann < no role > aged three Years or thereabouts were removed
from and out of the Parish of St. Matthew Bethnal
Green in the said County of Middlesex to the
said Parish of Theydon Garnon by the Name of
Coopersale in the County of Essex as the Place of
her last legal Settlement.

That your Petitioners thinking themselves
aggrieved by the said Pass. Warrt. or order
have therefore appealed against the
same and humbly pray your
Worshipps to make such order in the
Premisses as to your worshipps shall
seem meet.

And your Petitioners shall ever Pray Etc.
