apprehended by Hy Crocker< no role > one of the Patroles
belonging to the Public Office Bow Street in the
Parish of St. Andrew above Barrs as a Rogue
and Vagabond (Vizt [..] abroad and not
giving a satisfactory account of his values of
support taken by before me touching the place
of his legal settlement

Who on his Oath says that he was born in
the Parish of St. Olave Southwark that he is about
twenty Seven Years of age that about eight
Years ago he hired himself to him with one Mr
Yarrole in Duke Street St James at the Wages
of Six pounds for the Year, that under that hiring
he lived with him in the same Parish for one
Year and an half and since that he has done
no act or deed whatsoever to gain any subsequence
legal Settlement
