Chairman and the rest of his Majesty's Justices of
the Peace for the County of Middlesex at the
General Session of the Peace for the said County
Assembled

The Humble Petition and Appeal of James Cook< no role >

Sheweth


That Your Petitoner was or the thirteenth day of November
last adjudged (by George Story< no role > Esquire and John Staples< no role > Esquire
two of his Majestys Justices of the Peace for the said County of
Middlesex ) to be the reputed Father of Female Bastard Child
born of the Body of Isabella Collier< no role > in the Parish of St. George
And the said Justices did Order Your Petitioner to pay to
the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the said Parish
of St- George the Sum of One Pound six shillings for and
towards the lying in of the said Isabella Collier< no role > And did-
further Order Your Petitioner to pay to the said Churchwardens
and Overseers the Sum of Two Shillings weekley for and towards
the Sustentation and maintenance of the said Bastard Child during
so long time as the same is chargeable to the said Parish

That Your Petitioner conceiving himself agrieved
by the said adjudication and Order Humbly pray
that Your Worships will grant him the benefit of
his Appeal and such other relief in the premises
as may seem meet

And as in duty bound will ever pray
