The humble Petition and Appeal of the
Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the
Parish of Saint Paul Shadwell in the County
of Middlesex

Sheweth

That by Virtue of a pass Warrant or order
under the Hands and Seals of N Conant and John Scott< no role > two
of his Majestys Justices of the Peace acting in and for the
said County of Middlesex (one whereof being of the Quorum
bearing date the the 29th day of April last past George
Tanner< no role > was removed and conveyed from and out of
the Parish of Saint Giles in the Fields in the said
County to the said Parish of Saint Paul Shadwell
as the place of the last legal Settlement of the said
George Tanner< no role >

Your Petitioners conceive themselves
aggrieved by the Adjudication of the said
two Justices and therefore appeal to this
Court against the same and pray
your Worships will appoint a day in
the present Session for the Hearing
and determining of the said Appeal
