of Edward Strike< no role >
for an Assault.

William Creasy< no role > of Limehouse in the County of
Middlesex Gentleman the defendant above named
maketh oath and saith that he was indicted at
the last Middlesex Sessions for an Assault on
Edward Strike to which indictment he pleaded
not guilty and two persons entered into a
Recognizance to appear to and traverse the said
indictment at the present Session that not being a wall
of the practice of the Court of Sessions which requires
six days notice to be given to the Prosecutor of
the defendants intention to [..] try the said
Indictment precious to the said Session he did
omit to give such notice that he intends
to try the same at the next Sessions and had
no intention to delay the trial of the said traverse
by not giving such notice
