The Court pursuant to the Resolution of the
last Session proceeded to The Election of a Surgeon
& Apothecary
to the prisons of The New House of
Correction of Cold bath Fields
and New prison
on
Clerkenwell
When Mr. Webb and Mr. Good offered themselves
as Candidates for the said Office.
Mr Walford was proposed by Thomas Fellows< no role >
Esqr
. and
Mr Burrows was proposed by Rupert Clarke< no role >
Esqr

as proper Psons to [..] be appointed to the sd Office
Whereupon the Court proceeded to ballots
which Ballot commenced at 11 oCl: & closed at 1
oCl when upon casting up the Numbers it appeared
That Twenty Eight Justices had Voted for Mr Webb
Seventeen for Mr Good Six for M Burroughs and
One for Mr Walford whereupon Mr Webb
was declared duly elected and being called in
was acquainted by The Chairman with his
Election.
