And that a Jacket & Petticoat & Shoes and two Shifts
for the Women be also provided

That it be requested of Mr. Staples to provide the above
Necessaries upon a Certificate from the Apothecary

It is farther resolved that the Cloaths in which the
Prisoners come in be baked numbered & laid by where necessary

And that the Governor take care when the prisoners first
come in that they be washed and cleansed and properly cleared
from Filth & Vermin and if the present Bath will not answer
that a temporary Bath or Bathing Tub be provided and that
the Oil of Tar be used in such way as the Apothecaries
shall direct

That the same Resolutions extend to the New Prison so far
as the same are necessary

That a Chimney be erected in Clerkenwell Bridewell and
that Coals be burnt therein instead of Charcoal now used
