MIDDLESEX .


At the General quarter Session of the peace of our
Lord the King, holden in and for the County of Middlesex , at
the Session House for the Said County, (by Adjournment)
on Thursday the Twenty ninth day of Marchin
the Thirty SecondYear of the Reign of our Sovereign
Lord GEORGE the Third, King of Great Britain, Etc. Before
William Mainwaring< no role > William Bleamire< no role > John Pownall< no role >
Nathaniel Canant< no role >
Esquires , and others their Fellows, Justices of our Said Lord the
King, assigned to Keep the Peace in the County aforesaid; and
also to hear and determine divers Felonies, Trespasses, and other
Misdemeanours Committed in the Same County.

Whereas the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of Saint Giles in the Fields in the
Said County Did at the last General Session of the Peace held in and for this County Exhibit their Petition
and Appeal Settingforth That by virtue of a Pass Warrant or Order under the Hands and Seals of the
Reverand Sir George Booth< no role > Baronet and Rupert Clarke< no role > Esquire two of His Majesty's Justices of the Peace
in and for the said County bearing date the Second day of February last Elizabeth Revell< no role > and her two
Children Vizt Daniel< no role > aged Six Years and a half and Richard< no role > aged Three Years were removed and Conveyed
from did out of the Parish of Saint James at Clerkenwell in the Said County to the Said Parish of Saint
Giles in the fields as the place of the last legal settlement of the said Elizabeth Daniel and Richard
whereby the Petitioners Conceived themselves aggrieved which Said Appeal Stood duly adjourned until his
day Now upon having the said Appeal and what hath been alledged by the respective Churchwardens and
Overseers of the Poor of the Said Parishes their Counsel and Witness in and Concerning the Premises It is
Ordered that so much of the Said Appeal as respects the settlement of the said two Children Daniel and Richard
be and the same is hereby allowed and so much of the said Pass Warrant or Order of the Said two Justices is
hereby Vacated and set aside And it is Further Ordered that the Churchwardens and Overseers of the poor of the
Said Parish of Saint Giles in the fields do forthwith convey and deliver back the said Daniel and Richard
(together with a Copy of this Order) unto the Churchwardens and Overseers of the poor of the Said Parish of
Saint James at Clerkenwell who are hereby required to receive and provide for the Said Daniel and Richard
will they can free themselves from the charge thereof by due course of Law and It is Further Ordered
that so much of the said Appeal as respects the Settlement of the Said Elizabeth Revell be and the Same is
thereby dismissed and so much of the said Order of the said two Justices is hereby confirmed and It is
Further Ordered that the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the Said Parish of Saint Giles in
the Fields do maintain and provide for the said Elizabeth Revell until they can free themselves from the
Charge thereof by due Course of Law.
