MIDDLESEX .


At the General quarter Session of the Peace
of our Lord the King, holden in and for the
County of Middlesex , at the Session-House for the Said
County, (by adjournment) on Thursday
the Twenty ninth Day of March
in the Thirty Second Year of the Reign of our
Sovereign Lord George the Third, King of Great
Britain, Etc Before William Mainwaring< no role > William
Bleamire
< no role > John Pownall< no role > Nathaniel Conaut< no role >
Esquires , and others their Fellows, Justices of our Said
Lord the King, Assigned to keep the Peace in the County
aforesaid; and also to hear and determine divers
Felonies, Trespasses, and other Misdemeanours Com-
mitted in the Same County.

WHEREAS the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of Higham
Ferris in the County of Northampton Have at this Present Session Exhibited Their
Petition and Appeal setting Forth that by virtue of and under a Pass Warrant or Order
under the Hands and Seals of John Spiller< no role > Esquire and W: Blackmore Esqr two of this Majesty's
Justices of the Peace acting in and for the said County of Middlesex bearing date the 13th day of
February last past Elizabeth Rice< no role > wife of Richard Rice< no role > (Who in the Said Order is Stated to be absent
from her) was removed from and out of the parish of St. John at Hackney in the Said County of
Middlesex in and to the Said Parish of Higham Ferris whereby the Petitioners Conceived
themselves aggrieved

Now; upon hearing the said Appeal, and what hath been alledged by the respective
Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the Said Parishes, their Counsel and Witnesses in
and concerning the Premises, IT IS ORDERED, that the Said Appeal be, and the Same is
hereby allowed, and the Said Order of the Said two Justices is hereby vacated and set aside;
and IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor
of the Said Parish of Higham Ferris do Forthwith Convey and
deliver back the said Elizabeth Rice< no role >
(together with a Copy of this Order) unto the Church-wardens and Overseers of the Poor
of the Said Parish of Saint John at Hackney who are hereby required to
receive and provide for the Said Elizabeth Rice< no role >
until they can free themselves from the Charge thereof by due Course of Law. And IT IS
FURTHER ORDERED, that the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the Said
Parish of Saint John at Hackney do forthwith pay or cause to
be paid unto the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the said Parish of Higham
Ferris the Sum of
for their Charges and Expences in relieving and maintaining the Said
