MIDDLESEX .


AT the General Quarter Session of the Peace of our
Lord the King, holden in and for the County of Middlesex , at
the Session-House for the said County, ()
on Mondaythe Twenty third Day of Junein the
Twenty EighthYear of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord
GEORGE the Third, king of Great Britain, Etc. Before William
Mainwaring
< no role > , Nathaniel Conant< no role > , William Bleamire< no role > , Richard Tayler< no role > ,
Esquires , and others their Fellows, Justices of our said Lord the
King, assigned to keep the Peace in the County aforesaid; and
also to hear and determine divers Felonies, Trespasses, and other
Misdemeanours committed in the same County

Whereas the Churchwardens and Overseers of the poor of the parish of Saint
Leonard Shoreditch in the County of Middlesex Have at this present Session Exhibited
their Petition and Appeal setting forth That by Virtue of a Warrant or Order under
the Hands and Seals of David Wilmot< no role > and Rice Davies< no role > Esquires two of His Majestys Justices of
the peace for the County of Middlesex (one whereof being of the quorum) bearing Date the
Thirteenth day of June Instant Sarah Robins< no role > an Infant aged about One Year and Nine Months
a Base Child born of the body of Eleanor Robins< no role > was removed and conveyed from and out of
the parish of Saint John at Hackney in the County of Middlesex to the said Parish of Saint
Leonard Shoreditch in the said County as the place of the last legal settlement of the said Sarah
Robins
< no role > whereby the Petitioners conceived themselves aggrieved Now the said Appeal coming
on to be heard at the request of the Churchwardens and Overseers of the poor of the said Parish
of Saint John at Hackney and by the Consent of the Churchwardens and Overseers of the
Poor of the said Parish of Saint Leonard Shoreditch It is Ordered that the said Appeal
be and the same is hereby dismissed and the said Order of the said Two Justices is hereby
Confirmed And it is further Ordered that the Churchwardens and Overseers of the
Poor of the said Parish of Saint Leonard Shoreditch do maintain and provide for the
said Sarah Robins< no role > until they can free themselves from the charge thereof by due course
of Law.
