MIDDLESEX .


AT the General Quarter Session of the Peace of our
Lord the King, holden in and for the County of Middlesex , at
the Session-House for the said County, ()
on Mondaythe Twenty third Day of Junein the
Twenty EighthYear of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord
GEORGE the Third, king of Great Britain, Etc. Before William
Mainwaring
< no role > , Nathaniel Conant< no role > , William Bleamire< no role > , Richard Tayler< no role > ,
Esquires , and others their Fellows, Justices of our said Lord [..]
King, assigned to keep the Peace in the County aforesaid; and
also to hear and determine divers Felonies, Trespasses, and other
Misdemeanours committed in the same County.

Whereas James Abbott< no role > of James Street Westminster Baker Hath at this
present Session Exhibited his Petition an Appeal setting forth That he was
Convicted before Edward Parker< no role > Esquire One of his Majesty's Justices of the Peace
for the County of Middlesex on the Twelfth day of May last in the Sum of Three
Pounds for wearing on a certain Garment made of Velvet or other Materials called
a Waistcoat Eighteen Buttons bound with Velvet or other Materials whereof the
same Garment was made, whereby the Petitioner conceived himself aggrieved
Now the said Appeal coming on to be heard and the said Edward Parker< no role > Esquire
being solemnly called to come forth and support the said Conviction but not
appearing nor any Person on his behalf and Proof being made upon Oath that
a true Copy of the Petition and Appeal with the Order of Court thereon for
the hearing and determining the same at this Session had been personally served
upon him It is Ordered that the said Conviction be and the came is hereby
Quashed.-
