MIDDLESEX .


AT the General Quarter Session of the Peace of our
Lord the King, holden in and for the County of Middlesex , at
the Session-House for the said County, ()
on Mondaythe Twenty third Day of Junein the
Twenty EighthYear of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord
GEORGE the Third, king of Great Britain, Etc. Before William
Mainwaring
< no role > , Nathaniel Conant< no role > , William Bleamire< no role > , Richard Tayler< no role > ,
Esquires , and others their Fellows, Justices of our said Lord the
King, assigned to keep the Peace in the County aforesaid; and
also to hear and determine divers Felonies, Trespasses, and other
Misdemeanours committed in the same County

Whereas William Adey< no role > of St. Clement Danes Stable Keeper Hath at
this present Session Exhibited his Petition and Appeal setting forth That He was
Summoned to appear before William Hyde< no role > Esquire One of His Majesty's Justices of
the Peace for the said County for letting to hire to one Robert Carter< no role > Two Horses by the
Mile to be used in Travelling Post and not delivering a Stamp Office Ticket with the
number of Miles for which such Horses were hired, That he appeared according to
the said Summons and the said William Hyde< no role > Esqr. Convicted him (upon an Act of
Parliament made in the Twenty fifth year of the Reign of his present Majesty) of not
having given to the said Robert Carter< no role > the person hiring such Horses a Stamp Office
Ticket with the name of him the said William Adey< no role > and the City Town or Place
where he resided and the name of the Town or place to which such Houses were hired
to go and in words or Figures the Month and day of the Month and the number of
Miles for which such Horses were so hired added thereto and adjudged him to forfeit
Ten pounds for the said Offence whereby the Petitioner conceived himself aggrieved
Now upon hearing the said Appeal and what hath been alledged By the respected
Parties their Counsel and Witnesses in and concerning the Premises It is
Ordered that the said Conviction be and the same is hereby Quashed
