At the General Quarter Session of the
Peace of our Lord the King holden in and for
the County of Middlesex at the Session House
for the said County (by adjournment)on Thursday
the Third day of April in the Twenty Eighth Year of
the Reign of our Sovereign Lord George the Third
King of Great Britain Etc Before William
Mainwaring

< no role > Nathaniel Conant< no role > Esquires and
others their fellows Justices of our said Lord the
King assigned to keep the peace in the County
aforesaid, and also to hear and determine divers
Felonies Trespasses and other Misdemeanours
committed in the same County.

Whereas Caleb Barnett< no role > and John Barnett< no role > his Son Did at the
last General Session of the Peace held in and for this County Exhibit
their Petition and Appeal setting forth That by Articles of Agreement
Indented dated 18th. May 1785. and made between the Petitioners Caleb
Barnett
< no role > and John Barnett< no role > then of the Age of 15 Years and upwards of
the one Part and John Taylor< no role > of the Stand Table Knife and Sword
Cutler of the other part the said Caleb Barnett< no role > and John Barnett< no role > agreed
that the said John Barnett< no role > should serve the said John Taylor< no role > as an
Apprentice for Five Years and one half of a Year from the Twenty
Third day of April then last, That the said Caleb Barnett< no role > converranted
by the said Articles that he would during the said Term find the
said John Barnett< no role > in Washing and Apparel That the said John
Taylor
< no role > in consideration of the Premises and of Thirty Pounds paid to
him by the said Caleb Barnett< no role > Coverranted by the said Articles that
he would take entertain and employ the said John Barnett< no role > as an
Apprentice for and during the said Term and teach and Jnstruct
him in the said Trades or Businesses of Table Knife and Sword Cutter
and find him in Meat Drink and Lodging That at the time of
executing the said Articles the said John Taylor< no role > resided in the
Strand and kept a Shop in the Jewellry and Hardware businesses
which he sometime since left And that he has also left off the
