MIDDLESEX .


AT the General Quarter Session of the Peace of our
Lord the King, holden in and for the County of Middlesex , at
the Sessio=House for the Said County, (by adjournment)
on Thursday the Third Day of Aprilin the
Twenty Eighth Year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord
GEORGE the Third, King of Great Britain, Etc.

Whereas William Mackay< no role > the Elder of Piccadilly in the Parish of Saint
James Westminster Oil Merchant Hath at this present Session Exhibited his
Petition and Appeal setting forth That by an Order or Judgment of
Conviction under the Hand and Seal of Edward Parker< no role > Esquire one of His
Majesty's Justices of the Peace for the said County bearing Date the Thirtieth
Day of March 1788. He was Convicted in the Sum of Three pounds for using
and wearing on a certain Garment made of Woolen Cloth and other
materials called a Waistcoat One Dozen and one half of a Dozen of Buttons
bound with Woolen Cloth whereof wearing Garment called Waistcoats were
then usually made whereby the Petitioner conceived himself aggrieved
Whereupon at the request of the said Petitioner It is Ordered that the
benefit of his said Appeal should be saved unto him and the hearing
and determining thereof be and the same is hereby adjourned until the
next General Quarter Session of the Peace to be holden for this County and
on notice hereof in the mean time to be given unto the said Edward Parker< no role >
Esquire he and all persons concerned do attend the Court at the Session
House aforesaid on Thursday the Twenty sixth day of June next at the
hour of nine in the forenoon of the same Day to hear and abide the
judgment and determination of the said Court touching the said
Appeal.
