Parish to wit the said Daniel Lott< no role > who is the Sole Occupier of the
whole of the Lands within the said Parish and pays no Rates or Taxes
to any other Parish as he the said Daniel Lott< no role > informed the said Benjamin
Seers and Henry Adams< no role > This name instance is in set 1591. and the said Henry Adams< no role > This name instance is in set 1591. on his said Oath
further informed the said Justices that he did on the said Twelfth day
of September leave the said Benjamin Seers with the said Daniel Lott< no role >
at the Gate of the said Daniel Lott< no role > together with the said Pass and
that the said Daniel Lott< no role > refused to receive the said Benjamin
Seers or to give any Receipt for the same or to afford him any Relief
or Assistance And Whereas the said Daniel Lott< no role > by an Order of this
Court was required to attend this Court on Monday the 18th day of
September Instant at the Session House on Clerkenwell Green aforesaid
to shew cause why he refused to receive the said Benjamin Seers and that
in default thereof a Warrant of Distress would be issued to Levy the
Sum of £20 for the Penalty or Forfeiture of £20 incurred by the said
Daniel Lott< no role > under the Statute of the 17th. Year of the Reign of His late
Majesty King George the Second and Whereas the said Daniel Lott< no role >
having notice of our said Order did attend this Court by his Counsell
and was heard by his Counsell upon the said Information but hath not
shewn any good cause to this Court why he so refused to receive the said
Benjamin Seers [..] pursuant thereunto
these are therefore to command you to Levy the said Sum of £20 by
Distress and sale of the Goods of the said Daniel Lott< no role > and to pay
one Moiety of the said Penalty of £20 to the said Henry Adams< no role > This name instance is in set 1591. being
the person who first made Information of the said Offence against the
said Daniel Lott< no role > and to pay the other Moiety thereof to the Treasurey
of the said County of Middlesex to be applied by him as part of the
Publick Stock and the Overplus (if any) after such forfeiture or
Penalty levied and the Charges of Distress satisfied you are to return
to the said Daniel Lott< no role > upon Demand according to the Statute in
