of August 1787 at the Rotation Office at the
Sessions House on Clerkenwell Green
in the County
of Middlesex

in and for the said County
This Informant Saith That on the Fourteenth of July
last being on a Saturday at or about Ten o' Clock in the
Evening a Man about the Age of Twenty Six Years as this
Informant believes and whose Name is also unknown
to this Informant came to the aforesaid House called
the White Swan
and gave an Order for a Pot of Brr
and also Ordered Change for a Guinea to be brought
to the House of Mrs Neal No 8 White's Alley
near
Breams Buildings aforesaidWhich this Informant
Carried
[..] before she came to the said Houseand laid
the Change
down on a Dresser and which was afterware, taken up by the aforesaid Young Man and after waiting a Small
Space of Time this Informant was ordered by the
said Young Man the Fetch a Pot of Alehe having
asked the said Mrs Neal in this Informants Presence
and hearingif she liked AleSo which she Replied
YesThen this Informant was told the Guinea woud
be given her when she brought the Pot of AleAnd
this Informant Returned and brought the Ale as
Ordered to the Door of the House of the said Mrs
Nealthe said Mrs Neal took the Ale from this Informant
and would not let her into the said Mrs Neals, House
where she left the Change
And said Mrs Neal told
