To the Worshipful his Majesty's Justices of the Peace for
the County of Middlesex in their General Session of the
Peace Assembled

The Humble Petition and Appeal of
the Churchwardens and Overseers of the
Poor of the Parish of Saint Leonard
Shoreditch in the County of Middlesex

Sheweth.


That by virtue of A warrant for order
under the Hands and seals of Samuel Wegg< no role > and
Henry Lambe< no role > Esquires Two of his Majestys Justices
of the peace for the County of Middlesex (one whereof
being of the Quorum bearing Date the second Day
of January last past Giles Davis< no role > and Mary< no role > his
Wife and their seven Children Withto one Son named
Thomas< no role > aged thirty years, and one Daughter named
Mary< no role > aged Twenty four years and and other Daughter
Named Hannah< no role > aged Sixteen Years and one other
Daughter Named Elizabeth< no role > aged Twelve years,
And one other son named William< no role > aged Nine years
And one other son named John< no role > aged six years And
one other Daughter named Sarah< no role > aged four years
were removed And Conveyed from and out of the
Parish of Acton in the County of Middlsex to the
said Parish of Saint Leonard Shoreditch in the
Said County as the Place or their last legal
Settlement

That Your Petitioners Conceiving
themselves aggrieved by the said
Warrant or order Do humbly Appeal
against the same, And may that your
worships will be Pleased to Appoint
Day in this present Session that all
Parties Concerned may Attend to hear
and abide the Judgment and Determination
of this Court touching the said Appeal

And your Petitioners shall Everpray Etc.
