sd. to Assembled

The Humble Petition & Appeal of the
Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the
Parish of Saint Mary May dalen in the City
of London

Sheweth

That by an Order under the Hands and Seals of Edward B
Green< no role > and N Forster Esquires two of his [..]
Majesties Justices of the Peace in and for the said
County bearing date the 2d day of May 1785 Martha Goldsmith< no role > Widow
and her two Bastard Children namely Richard Best< no role > aged
about 2 Years and a Half and Elizabeth Ann< no role > Munn aged about
7 Months were removed and conveyed from the Parish
of Kensington in the County aforesaid to the said
Parish of Saint Mary Magdalen as the place of their
last legal Settlement where by your Petitioners think
themselves aggrieved,

Your Petitioners there fore humbly
Bay Appeal to this Court against
the Adjudication of the said two
Justices and their said Order and
Pray that your Worships will be
Pleased to appoint a Day to hear
and determine the said Appeal

And Your Petitioners will
ever Pray Etc
