Humbly Sheweth
That in Pursuance of An Act of Parliament made and
passed in 25th. Years of the reign of his present Majesty
"Intituled An Act for Granting to his Majesty certain Duties
"on Licenses to be taken out by Persons vending Gloves or
"Mittens and also certain Duties on Gloves and Millens
"Sold by retail" Your Appellant on the 26th. day of November
last was Convicted by

for the County of Middlesex
in the
Penalty of Twenty Pounds for having sold a Pair of Gloves
not having a Stamp Affixed there to Contrary to Said Statute
As by the Said Conviction Relation being there unto had
