To the Right Worshipful his Majesty,s Justices of the
Peace in and for the County of Middlesex in their
General Quarter Session Assembled

The Humble Petition and Appeal of the Churchwardens and
Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of Saint Saviour Southwark
in the County of Surrey

Sheweth


That by Virtue of an Order or Pass Warrant under the hands
and Seals of Thomas Collins< no role > and John Barnfather< no role > Esquires two of his
Majesty's of the Peace for the County of Middlesex (one whereof being the
Quorum) bearing date the fifteenth day of February 1785 Thomas
Wesley
< no role > aged twelve Years or thereabouts & Catherine Wesley< no role > aged
nine Years or thereabouts Megitimate Children were removed from the
Parish of Saint Clement Dane's in the said County of Middlesex unto the
Parish of Saint Saviour Southwark in the said County of Surrey by the
name and description of St Mary Overy 's in the County of Surrey
alledging the said Parish of St Saviour Southwark by the name
and description of Saint Mary Overy 's to be the place of their last
legal Settlement

That your Petitioners conceive themselves aggrieved
by the said Warrant or Order of the said two Justices do therefore
Appeal to Your Worships therefrom and humbly
Pray that You will be pleased to hear them in the
Premises and Order that the Churchwardens and
Overseers of the Poor of the said Parish of Saint
Clement Danes in the said County of Middlesex
may appear before you at a certain day to be
appointed to hear and abide the Judgement and
determination of Your Worships touching the
Appeal

And your Petitioners shall ever Pray Etc
