MIDDLESEX .


At the General Quarter Session of the Peace of our
Lord the King, holden for the County of Middlesex , at
the Session=House for the said County, (by adjournment)
on Thursday the Seventh Day of Aprilin the
Twenty fifthYear of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord
GEORGE the Third, King of Great Britain, Etc.

Whereas the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of St. Mary
at Rotherhith in the County of Surrey Have at this present Session Exhibited
their Petition and Appeal Setting forth That by Virtue of an Order or Pass Warrant
under the hands and Seals of John Woodham< no role > Esqr. and John Staples< no role > Esqr. two of his
Majesties Justices of the Peace for the County of Middlesex (one whereof being of the
Quorum) bearing date the first day of April 1785 Onner Perkins< no role > the Wife of
Phillip Perkins< no role > and their Child Vizt. Elizabeth Perkins< no role > aged Nine Months or
thereabouts were removed from the Parish of Saint Paul's Shadwell in the County of
Middlesex unto the said Parish of Saint Mary at Rotherhith in the County of Surrey
alledging the said Parish of Saint Mary at Rotherhith to be the place of their last
legal Settlement whereby the Petitioners conceived themselves aggrieved

Whereupon at the request of the said Petitioners It is Ordered that the
benefit of their said Appeal should be saved unto them and the hearing and
determining thereof be and the same is hereby adjourned until the next General
Session of the peace to be holden for the said County and on Notice hereof in the
mean time to be given unto the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the said
Parish of Saint Pauls Shadwell they and all Persons concerned do attend the
Court at the Session house aforesaid on Thursday the Twelfth day of May
next at the hour of Nine in the forenoon of the same day to hear and abide the
Judgement and determination of the said Court touching the said Appeal
