To the Worshipful William Mainwaring< no role > Esqr .
and the rest of his Majestys Justices of the Peace
in their General Session of the Peace Assembled

The humble Petition of John Beddow< no role >
of Great Shire Lane in the Parish of Saint
Clement Danes Scrivener .

Sheweth.


That by a certain Indenture of Apprenticeship bearing date
the 28th. day of July 1779 James Keigwin< no role > was bound out of the
Grey-coat Hospital Westminster to your Petitioner for the Term of
Seven Years, two years part thereof are now unexpired

That on or about the 18th day of August last your Petitioner
received a Summons from the Worshipful David Walker< no role > and another
Gentleman in the Commission of the Peace , for your Petitioner to
attend them at the Rotation office in Hyde Street Bloomsbury
on Friday then next following to answer a Complaint made against
Your Petitioner by the said James Keigwin< no role > for ill treating him
and not instructing him in the art of a Stationer to which Summons
Your Petitioner appeared

That by an Order of Adjudication under the Hands and Seals
of the said D. Walker and H. Messiter Esqrs. two of his Majestys
Justices of the Peace in and for the said County of Middlesex bearing
date the 20th day of August last the said Justices did discharge him the
said James Keigwin< no role > from his said Apprenticeship whereby your
Petitioner is greatly aggrived

Your Petitioner therefore humbly Prays your Worships
to set aside the said Order of Adjudication and to order
his said Apprentice to return to your Petitioner, or to
make such further Order in the Premises as your
Worships in your great widsom shall seem meet.

And your Petitioner will ever Pray Etc.
