UPON the Complaint of the
Church-Wardens andOverseers of the
Poor of the Liberty of the Rolls
in the County of Middlesex
unto us whose Names
are hereunto set, and Seals affixed, being two of his Majesty's Justices of
the Peace
in and for the said County of Middlesex
and one of us of the Quorum, that

aged Thirty two Years or thereabouts
did lately come to inhabit in the said Liberty of the
Rolls
not having gained a legal Settlement there, nor
produced any Certificate owning himself to be settled else-
where, and that the said
Thomas Burt< no role >
is
likely to be chargeable to the said
Liberty of the Rolls
We the said
Justices upon due Proof made thereof, as well upon the Examination
of the said
Thomas Burt< no role >
upon Oath,
as otherwise, and likewise upon due Consideration had of the Premises,
do adjudge the same to be true; and we do likewise adjudge, that the
lawful Settlement of him the said
Thomas Burt< no role >
is in the said Parish of St. Martin in the fields
in the said
County of Middlesex
We do therefore
require you the said
Church-WardensOverseers of the Poor of the
said Liberty of the Rolls
or some or
one of you to convey the said
Thomas Burt< no role >
from and out of your said Liberty of the Rolls
to the said Parish of St. Martin in the fields
and him
to deliver to the Church Wardens and Overseers of the Poor there, or
to some or one of them, together with this our Order, or a true Copy
thereof. And we do also hereby require you the said Church Wardens
and Overseers of the Poor of the said Parish of St. Martin in the
fields
to receive and provide for him as Inhabitant of your
Parish Given under our Hands and Seals the thirteenth
Day of December in the Year of our Lord One Thosuand
Seven Hundred and Eighty four
