To the Church-Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish
of Saint Mary Whitechapel in the County of Middlesex , to con-
vey, and to the Church-Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of
the Parish of St John Wapping in the County of
Middlesex to receive and obey.

WHEREAS Complaint hath been made unto Us, whose
Hands and Seals are hereunto set, being two of His
Majesty's Justices of the Peace, in and for the County of Mid-
dlesex, (one whereof being of the Quorum) by the Church
Wardens or Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of St. Mary
Whitechapel , in the said County,
That Ann Meckley< no role > Wife of Robert Meckley< no role > who is
now at Sea) and their Infant Child Vizt Mary< no role >
Aged about five Months have
lately come to inhabit in the said Parish of St. Mary White-
chapel , not having gained any legal Settlement there, not pro-
duced any Certificate acknowledging them to be settled else-
where, and are likely to become chargeable to the said Parish:
We, the said Justices, upon Examination of the Premises upon
Oath, and other Circumstances, do adjudge the same to be true,
and do also adjudge the Place of the last legal Settlement of the
said
Ann Meckley< no role > and their said Infant
Child
to be in the Parish of St John Wapping in the County
of Middlesex

THESE are therefore, in His Majesty's Name, and by Virtue
of the Statutes in that Behalf, to require you, on Sight
hereof, to remove and convey the said
Ann Meckley< no role > and their said Infant Child
from and out of your said Parish of St. Mary Whitechapel , to
the said Parish of St John Wapping
and them deliver to the Church Wardens and Overseers of the
Poor there, or to some or one of them, together with this our Or-
der, or a true Copy hereof, who are hereby required to receive
and provide for them
according to Law. Given under our Hands and Seals this
23 Day of Novr in the Year
