County Assembled

The Humble Petition and Appeal of the
Church Wardens & Overseers of the Poor of the Parish
of Saint John of Wapping in the County of Middlesex

Sheweth

That by an Order of Removal under the hands and
Seals of William Quarrill< no role > Esqr. and John Staples< no role > Esqr. two of
his Majestys Justices of the Peace Acting in and for thesd
County (one whereof being of the Quorum) bearing date the twenty
third day of November last Ann Meckley< no role > Wife of Robert
Meckley< no role > who was then as sea and their Infant Child
(viz) Mary< no role > Aged about five Months were removed
from the parish of Saint Mary White Chapel in the said
County of Middlesex to thesd. Parish of Saint John of
Wapping as the place of their last legal Settlement

That your Petitioners conceive themselves
Aggrieved by the said Order and do Appeal agt. the same

Your Petitioners therefore humbly pray that
a day may be Appointed of this present
Session to hear & determine the Matter of
thesd. Appeal and that all Parties concerned
may then Attend

And Yr. Petitioners shall ever pray Etc.
