WHEREAS Complaint has been made unto us, two of
His MAJESTY'S Justices of the Peace in and for the
County of MIDDLESEX (One whereof being of the
Quorum) by the Church-Wardens and Overseers of
the Poor of the Parish of St. LUKES , in the said County, That
William Savage< no role > (who is Sick and
Infirm) and Sarah< no role > his Wife have

lately come into the said Parish, endeavouring to Settle there,
contrary to Law And it appeareth unto us the said Justices,
and we do adjudge that they are likely to become charge-
able to the said Parish; and upon Examination of the said
Sarah his Wife taken upon oath,
it further appeareth unto us, and we do likewise adjudge, that
the Parish of Saint Botolph Aldgate in the
County of Middlesex
is the Place of the legal Settlement of the said William
Savage< no role > and Sarah his Wife
Theses are therefore in his MAJESTY'S Name to Charge and
Command the Church Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the
said Parish of St. LUKE , forthwith to remove and convey the said
William Savage< no role > and Sarah his Wife
from the said Parish of St. Luke , to the said Parish of
Saint Botolph Aldgate and deliver them to the
Church-Wardens and Overseers of the Poor there, or to some
or one of them, who are hereby required to provide for them
according to Law. GIVEN under our Hands and Seals
the 26th Day of April 17 80

and to all other Officers whom it may
