"One of the Justices of our said Lord the King of the Court of Common
"Pleas Sir Francis Page< no role > Knight one of the Barons of the Exchequer
"of our said Lord the King Sir William Thomas< no role > Knight Recorder
"of the City of London Sir Francis Forbes< no role > Knight Robert Heysham< no role >
"Esquire and others their fellows Justices of our said Lord the King
"Assigned to deliver the said Goal of Newgate of the Prisoners therein
"being It was Ordered by the Court that thereafter no Bill or Bills
"of Indictment should be received by the Clerk of Arraignments of the
"said Court from the Sessions of the peace or from the Sessions of Oyer
"and Terminer holden at Hicks Hall in Saint John Street in the
"County of Middlesex for the said County or from the Session of the peace
"holden for the Liberty of Westminster in the said County after the
"hour of two in the afternoon of the Second day of the Session of Goal
"Delivery of Newgate hold for the said Court And Whereas
"frequent delays and inconveniences have happened to this Count
"by the non observance of the said order to the great hinderance
"of Publick Justice and delay of the delivery of the said Goal of Newgate
"of the Prisoners therein being This Court doth therefore order that the
"Order of Court before recited be from and after this Session received
"and carried into Execution and that a Copy of this order be
"Transmitted to the Justices of the said Session of the Peace and
"Session of Oyer and Terminer now assembled at Hicks Hall
"aforesaid

By the Court

"Now this Court taking the premises into Consideration
"and being desirous to Remove every unnecessary delay in the Execution
"of public business within their Jurisdiction Do hereby recommend it
"to his Majesty's Justices of the peace for this County when any Person or
"Persons shall be bound over in a Recognizance before them to
"Prosecute or give Evidence in cases of felony or other Capital offend
"committed within the County of Middlesex to make the Condition
"of such Recognizance for the Appearance of the Party or Parties at
"the then next Session of the peace (or Session of Oyer and Terminer
"according to the nature of the offence) to be holden in and for the said
"County if Middlesex and within the first three days thereof to prefer
"the Indictment and give Evidence to the Grand Jury there on and
