"of the Indictment shall be returned a true Bill then forthwith to
"prosecute the Law with Effect and give Evidence at the Session of Goal
"Delivery of Newgate for the said County upon the Trial of such
"person so Indicted according to this form (vizt.)" The Condition of this
" "Recognizance is that if the said Ai B: Etc. do personally
" "appear at the next General (or General Quarter) Session of
" "the Peace (or General session of Oyer and Terminer if proper
" "as in the Case of forgery Etc) to be holden in and for the said
" "County of Middlesex and within the three first days thereof
" "prefer a Bill of Indictment and give Evidence thereon
" "to the Grand Jury againstforand in case
" "such Indictment shall be returned a True Bill then the
" "said A B Etc Personally to appear at the now next Session
" "of Goal Delivery of Newgate to be holden for the said County
" "and then and there Prosecute the Law with Effect and give
" "Evidence on his Majestys behalf against the said
" "upon the Trial thereupon to be had Then Etc. Else Etc

"And it is further Recommended that such Recognizances
"be delivered to the Clerk of the Peace or returned to the Session house
"for the said County (and not to the old Bailey as hath been Practiced)
"so that the Recognizances of such persons as shall fail to perform
"the first Condition thereof may be duly Estreated and those of such as
"shall have preferred Bills of Indictments for offences aforesaid
"may be returned by the Clerk of the Peace to the Session of Goal
"Delivery with the Indictments to which they may have relation And
"it is also Ordered that the Clerks to his Majestys Justices of the
"Peace for this County do at the time of acknowledging every
"such Recognizance give the Persons so bound over notice of the
"time of the Commencement of the Sessions at which they shall
"be bound to appear as aforesaid and do also specially warn
"them of the Consequence of neglect in the Premises"

Now upon further Consideration of the premises
It is Ordered that the said Order be and the same is hereby
Confirmed and made a Standing order of this Court And it
is farther Ordered that a Copy of the said be by the Clerk of
the Peace transmitted to his Majestys Justices of the peace acting
