At the General Session of the Peace of our Lord the King begun and holden
for the County of Middlesex at Hicks Hall in Saint John Street in the said
County On Monday the fourth day of December in Tenth year of the Reign
of our Sovereign Lord George the Third King of Great Britain etc and from
thence continued by several Adjournments until Thursday the Seventh day of
the same Month of December And on the same Thursday the Seventh day
of December being holden by Adjournment as aforesaid at Hicks Hall aforesaid
in the said County of Middlesex before John Hawkins< no role > , Saunders Welch< no role >
Benjamin Cowley< no role > , Bartholomew Hammond< no role > , George Mercer< no role > Esquires and
others their Fellows Justices of our said Lord King Assigned to keep the place
in the County aforesaid and also to hear and determine divers Felonies
Trespasses and other Misdemeanors committed in the same County

Whereas George Lin< no role > Hath at this present Session Exhibited his Petition
Setting forth That the petitioner on or about the Twentieth day of October One
thousand Seven hundred and Sixty Six by Indenture bearing date that day Did
put himself Apprentice to Richard Edwards< no role > of the Parish of Saint George Hanover Square
in the County of Middlesex Carver and Gilder to serve from the day of the date
thereof for the Term of Seven Years. That in pursuance of the said Indenture
from the time of the date and execution thereof until in or about the Month of
from the time of the date and execution thereof until in or about the month of
November in the year of our Lord One thousand seven hundred and Sixty Seven
the Petitioner lived with and served the said Richard Edwards< no role > as his Apprentice
honestly and faithfully and to the Utmost of his ability. That on or about the
Twentieth day of November One thousand Seven hundred and Sixty Seven by
Indenture Tripartite bearing date that day made between the said Richard
Edwards
< no role > of the first part the said George Lin of the Second part and William
Glover
< no role > then of the Parish of Saint James Clerkenwell in the County of Middlesex
Carver and Gilder of the Third part the said Richard Edwards< no role > did Assign and
Set over to the said William Glover< no role > the Petitioner as his Apprentice And also
the said Indenture of Apprenticeship for the remainder of the said Term
of Seven years That the Petitioner faith fully served the said William Giles< no role >
as his Apprentice from the day of the date of the said Assignment until
on or about the Twenty third day of November last when the said William
Glover
< no role > having sold all his Goods to a Broker went away from his House and
family then being in Narrow Street in the Parish of Saint Ann Lime house in
the said County of Middlesex and hath not since been heard of But
Elizabeth< no role > the wife of the said William Glover< no role > then lived with her Brother
Thomas Howards< no role > Carpenter and under taker near the Horse ferry Limehouse
And thereby praying that as the Petitioner was left unprovided for and had
no Opportunity of serving out the Term of his Apprenticeship and of learning
his Trade, That this Court would be pleased to discharge him from his said
apprentice
