The matter of the petition of the several Persons whose names
Are thereunto subscribed Inhabitants of the Parish of St. Paul
Shadwell and other places adjacent in this County thereby compl [..]
ing of grievous outages committed by certain coalheavers upon
Some of the Petitioners and of in due encouragement & protection given
thereto by Ralph Hodgson< no role > This name instance is in set 3684. Esqr one of his majestys justices of the
peace for this county residing at shadwell spa this day coming on
to be heard And this Court having now proceeded to the exam
of Witnesses upon Oath touching the matter aforesd. in the
presence & hearing of the said Ralph Hodgson< no role > and his council
who cross examd the witnesses from twice to have as they saw Occasion
And the said Ralph Hodgson< no role > not producing any witnesses on his
part wharsor This Court is of opinion that he the said R H
hath been accessing to the extragions proceedings and
disorders contained in the sd. Retn and is therefore inworthy to
holden or exercise the office on authority of a magistrate in this county and
