To the Church-Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the
Parish of St. Leonard, Shoreditch , in the County of
Middlesex , and to the ChurchWardens and Overseers
of the Poor of the Parish of Saint Saviour Southwark
in the County of Surry

WHEREAS Complaint hath been made unto
Us, two of His Majesty's Justices of the Peace
for the County of Middlesex . (one whereof being of the
Quorum) by the ChurchWardens and Overseers of the
Poor of the said Parish of St. Leonard, Shoreditch
Middlesex , That Elizabeth Satchwell< no role > wife of William David
Satchwell
< no role > (who is gone from her and left her destitute
and unprovided for) and her Child named Elizabeth< no role >
aged Seven Months and unwards hath come to Inhabit
in the said Parish of Saint Leonard Shoreditch not having
gained any legal Settlement there and is
lately intruded and
came into the said Parish of St. Leonard Shoreditch , and
likely to
become Chargeable to the same; We the said
Justices upon Examination of the Premises upon Oath,
and other Circumstances, do adjudge the same to be true,
and do also adjudge the Place of the last legal Settlemant
of the said Elizabeth Satchwell< no role > and her said Child
named Elizabeth< no role > is in the Parish of Saint Saviour
Southwark in the County of Surry aforesaid

THESE are therefore in his Majesty's Name to
require you the Church Wardens and Overseers
of the Poor of the Parish of St. Leonard, Shoreditch ,
Middlesex , on Sight hereof, to remove and convey the
said Elizabeth Satchwell< no role > and her said Child
from and out of your Parish of Saint Leonard
unto the said Parish of Saint Saviour
and then deliver unto ChurchWardens and
Overseers of the Poor there, or to some or to one of
them, together with this our Order, or a true Copy
hereof, who are hereby required to receive and provide
for them according to Law.

Given under our Hands and Seals this Fourth
Day of August 176 9
