The humble Peticon of John King< no role > Constable
of Old street Liberty in the Parish of St Giles wthout
Cripplegate in the St. County on the behalf of himself
and divers others ancient Inhabitants of the sd Liberty

Sheweth.

That one Daniel Maynard< no role > an Inhabitant in the sd Liberty in
shown to serve the Office of head borough for the year
ensueing but refuseth to be Sworn and to take upon him
the Execucon of the said office.

Therefore yor Peticonr humbly prays an Order from this
Honble Cor for the sd Daniel Maynard< no role > to attend yor Worshp
to shew cause why he refused to be Sworn into, and
take upon him the execucon of the said office

And yor Peticonr are in duty bound
Shall ever pray Etc
