of the Peace for the County of Middx

The humble Peticon of John King< no role > Constable
of Old street Liberty in the Parish of St Giles wthout
Cripplegate in the St. County on the behalf of himself
and divers others ancient Inhabitants of the sd Liberty

Sheweth.

That one Daniel Maynard< no role > an Inhabitant in the sd Liberty is
chosen to serve the Office of Head borough for the year
ensueing but refuseth to be Sworn and to take upon him
the Execucon of the same Office.

Therefore yor Peticonr humbly prays an Order from this
Honble Co [..] for the sd Daniel Maynard< no role > to attend yor Worpp
to Shew cause why he refuseth to be Sworn into, and
take upon him the execucon of the said office

And yor Peticonr are in duly bound
Shall ever pray Etc
