To the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of
Saint Botolph without Aldgate , in the County of Middlesex ;
and to the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the
Parish of Saint Botolph without Bishopsgate in the City of
London
and to each and every of them.

To wit,}


WHEREAS Complaint hath been made unto Us, Two of His
Majesty's Justices of the Peace , in and for the County of Middlesex
aforesaid (one whereof being of the Quorum) by the Churchwardens and
Overseers of the Poor of the said Parish of Saint Botolph without Aldgate, That
Elizabeth Pratt< no role > (the Widow of William Pratt< no role > deced) and her Five children and
lawful Issue [..] by her said late husband namely Joseph< no role > Aged about Twelve
Years & Nine Months John< no role > Aged about Eight Years William< no role > Aged about Seven Years
Thomas< no role > Aged about Three Years & Elizabeth< no role > Aged about Four Months

lately intruded, and came into the said Parish of Saint Botolph without Aldgate ;
and are likely to become chargeable to the same: We
the said Justices upon Examination of the Premises, upon Oath, and other
Circumstances, do adjudge the same to be true. And do also adjudge the Place
of the last legal Settlement of the said Elizabeth Pratt< no role > and her said Children to
be in the Parish of Saint Botolph without Bishopsgate in the City of London

These are therefore in His Majesty's Name to require You the said Church-
wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of Saint Botolph without Ald-
gate, on Sight hereof, to remove and convey the said Elizabeth Pratt< no role > and her
said Children

from and out of Your said Parish of Saint Botolph without Aldgate, to the said
Parish of Saint Botolph without Bishopsgate
and them deliver unto the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor
there, or to some, or One of them, together with this our Order, or a true
Copy thereof, who are hereby required to receive and provide for them
according to Law. Given under our Hands and Seals, this Second
Day of April 177 4
