MIDDLESEX .


At the General Quarter Session of the Peace
of our Lord the King, holden in and for the County
of Middlesex , at Hicks-Hall , in Saint John-Street ,
(by adjournment) on Thursday the Fourteenth
Day of Aprilin the FourteenthYear of the
Reign of our Sovereign Lord GEORGE the Third, King of
Great Britain, Etc.

Whereas the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of Spesbury in
the County of Dorset Have at this present Session Exhibited their Petition andApp
Appeal setting forth That by a certain passer Order of Removal bearing date the
Thirtieth day of March last past and signed and executed by the Right Honourable
the Lord Dudley and Ward and William Rugge< no role > Esquire Two of his Majesty's Justices
of the Peace for the City and Liberty of Westminster Reciting that a Complaint had
been made unto them as such Justices (one whereof being of the Quorum) by the
Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of St George Hanover
Square That Elizabeth Walters< no role > (widow of Thomas Walters< no role > ) aged fifty Eight Years
had lately intruded and come into the said Parish of St George Hanover Square
and become chargeable to the same They the said Justices upon Examination of
the Premises upon Oath and other circumstances did adjudge the same to be
true and did also adjudge the place of the last legal settlement of the said Elizabeth
Walters
< no role > to be in the said Parish of Spesbury in the said County of Dorset the
said Justices therefore in his Majesty's Name required the said Churchwardens
and Overseers of the said Parish of St George Hanover Square to remove and
convey the said Elizabeth Walters< no role > from and out of the said Parish of St George
Hanover Square to the said Parish of Spesbury and her deliver to the Churchwardens
and Overseers of the Poor there or to some or one of them together with the said
Passor Order (or a true copy thereof) who were thereby required to receive and
provide for her according to Law Bywhich said Passor Order of the said Two
Justices (which was served onyourthe Petitioners the fifth day of this Instant April
and not before)Wherebythe Petitioners and Appellants apprehended themselves
aggrieved Whereupon at the Request of the said Petitioners It is Ordered that
the Benefit of their said Appeal be saved unto them and that the hearing
and determining thereof be and the same is hereby adjourned until the next General
Session of the Peace to be holden for this County And that on Notice hereof in the mean
time to be given to the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the said Parish of St George
Hanover Square they and all persons concerned do attend the Court at Hicks Hall
aforesaid on Thursday the Nineteenth day of May next ensuing at the hour of Ten in the forenoon of the same dayto hear and abide the Judgment and
determination of the said Court touching the said Appeal
