the County of Middx Gentleman maketh Oath & saith
that he was with Mr. Wm: Wood personally on Monday
Evening the 8th. day of this Instant May and gave
him Notice that he this Deponent wou'd Present a
a Petition to the Court at Hicks Hall this present
Session to Mitigate the fine laid on Wm: Pittman< no role > at
the last Session for an Assault on said Wm: Wood< no role >
and that he this Deponent at the same time offence
said Wm: Wood< no role > Eight Guineas to make up the Affair
provided the Court would consent to it which he the
said Wm: Wood< no role > refused
