Adams
For an Assault

Thomas Lockitt< no role > of Parry's Rents in the Parish of Saint
Andrew Holborn in the County of Middlesex Yeoman the
above named dependant maketh Oath That on Saturday
in October last past he did at the Session of the Peace then
holding for the County of Middlesex , about four of the Clock
in the Afternoon of the same Day, on the Recognizance
being called wherein he with his Sureties was bound, deliver to
Mr: Sheldon, one of the Cryers of the Honourable Court the
Money required to be paid by him (Vizt: two Shillings &. [..] Eight
Pence) with Intent that it should be delivered to Mr. Jefferson
the Deputy Clerk of the Peace for this County, & beleives
the same was so delivered accordingly, but through Mistake
& hurry of Business, the said Mr. Jefferson has not,
Entered the same in his Book as paid
