above named dependant maketh Oath That on Saturday
in October last past he did at the Session of the Peace then
holding for the County of Middlesex
, about four of the Clock
in the Afternoon of the same Day, on the Recognizance
being called wherein he with his Sureties was bound, deliver to
Mr: Sheldon, one of the Cryers of the Honourable Court the
Money required to be paid by him (Vizt: two Shillings &. [..] Eight
Pence) with Intent that it should be delivered to Mr. Jefferson
the Deputy Clerk of the Peace for this County, & beleives
the same was so delivered accordingly, but through Mistake
& hurry of Business, the said Mr. Jefferson has not,
Entered the same in his Book as paid
