get this Deponent properly discharged
the Prosxs. husband Mc Neal being gone
Away And the prosecutrix refuseing to do
Any thing Else without her husband being
present And this Depont. On his Oath
further Saith That ye sd James Mc Neal< no role >
and Margarett< no role > his Wife reced ye sd. four,
pounds One Shilling in fall Discharged
and as a full recompence and Satisfaction
for ye sd Assault And Assured the said Defr.
The Discharge hereto Annext which was
Signed by ye Prosecutrix's husband in her
presence and by her Consent was Very
Sufficients for this Depont. As he this
Depent. then knew Nothing to ye Contrary
And Lastly this Depont Daniel Betts for
himself Saith That he was present And
did See the Prosecutrix and her husband
or One of them Receive the Sum of four
pounds One Shilling of ye Deft. At ye
House of peter Dufty on the Eighth day
of August Last And this Deponts Name
is thereto Sett as a Witness to ye paper
